In October 2026, Bristol Myers Squibb reported that RYZ101 (225Ac-DOTATATE) met its primary progression-free survival endpoint at the interim analysis of the Phase III ACTION-1 trial, evaluating patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours whose disease had progressed following lutetium-177-based therapy. The result supports its potential to address an important treatment gap and provides late-stage evidence for actinium-225-based treatment.

The progression of these programmes is increasing the importance of dependable isotope supply. In May 2026, TerraPower Isotopes began construction of a US$450 million actinium-225 manufacturing facility in Philadelphia, intended to ease supply constraints and provide the production capacity needed to support clinical development and potential commercial launches across the pipeline.
